The small cycle of diesel generator set refers to the cooling circulating water only circulating in the water pump and water jacket. The prerequisite for this situation is that when the temperature of the water inside the diesel generator set is below 70 degree , the outlet valve of the temperature controller closes, and all the cooling circulating water flows back to the inlet of the water pump through the bypass valve of the temperature controller and is then used in a cyclic manner.

When the water temperature inside the diesel generator set is between 70 degree and 80 degree , the bypass valve of the temperature adjustment device is gradually closed, and the outlet valve to the radiator is gradually opened. At this moment, a portion of the cooling water inside the body is still undergoing small circulation, while another portion of the cooling water flows back to the radiator through the radiator return pipe.

When the temperature of the water inside the diesel generator set is above 80 degree , all the bypass valves of the temperature adjustment components are closed, and the outlet valve is fully opened. At this moment, all the cooling water inside the body flows through the radiator to achieve a large circulation.
